Michael Faught - President

Michael brings 25 years experience in investment banking, investment management, operating management and technology commercialization in diverse environments ranging from bulge bracket investment banks, to diversified Fortune 500 corporations to numerous start-ups and growth-stage companies. Most recently, Michael was Managing Partner of Technology Capital Partners a merchant banking boutique focused on technology-driven growth acquisitions.

Michael's investment banking experience spans corporate finance with Lehman Brothers, M&A and financial restructuring with Kidder Peabody and technology-startup financing and commercialization with Technology Management & Funding. Michael's operating experience includes President and COO of Media Data Corporation, Director of Operations Analysis for AlliedSignal (now Honeywell) where he had oversight responsibility for the corporation's $4.0 billion, 27 business unit, Engineered Materials (plastics, chemicals and synthetic fibers) Sector. His investment and wealth management experience includes Merrill Lynch's Private Banking and Investment Group, Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. and Mellon Bank's Capital Markets Group.

Michael is a Founding Partner of the Los Angeles chapter of Social Venture Partners, a venture-philanthropy partnership focused on LA County charter schools. Michael grew up in Italy, resides in Los Angeles and has two sons in college in Southern California. Michael holds an AB in economics from Harvard, where he was a two-time All-America and All-Ivy lacrosse player, and an MBA in finance from Wharton.
